La Mirada High School

These are my honest opinions and my experience I went there freshman and sophomore year I felt like the teachers gave zero help. They only care about athletes or AP students or students with high GPA’s. The school seems very slow. They didn’t take good care of the school, teachers are very lazy don’t grade work in time most of the time they complain about students not doing work but don’t explain work.

I would rate my experience at this school as poor because they favor only the athletic departments and do not care for the rest of the student body. The school spirit is awful and my last year of high school was not enjoyable at all.

There are some amazing teachers and staff at this school that both effectively teach students their subjects and other important life lessons and help them develop character. An overall very calm school, with barely any fights, and the few that do happen don't progress to anything serious. Has plenty of diversity when it comes to sports, extra-curricular groups and activities, and elective classes. It's a shame they eventually got rid of home economics classes entirely, when they closed up the sewing class that so many students fell in love with and found a career in.
