Lakeport Elementary School

My son is going into second grade. His Kindergarten and First grade experience were phenominal. The teachers were amazing, and dedicated to making the children's early learning experience special. He has flourished and we are very excited for Second Grade.

This school is the best! The staff is dedicated and hard working. They work long hours to insure that every child is able to succeed. How lucky we are to live in a town with such a fantastic and nurturing learning environment..

I have to say although there are some good teachers i feel that they have their hands tied behind their backs do to very poor curriculum, student to teacher ratios in the higher 20's and although the office staff is very friendly i feel their concern of children safety leaves some much needed room for improvement. not to profile or sound mean but i don't like the idea that the kids get very little one on one time with the teachers due to high numbers of classmates and the fact that a high percentage of student don't speak English!
