We are so glad we are going to Marylin! The school is not as big as other schools, so pick up and drop off are a breeze. Parking aside, we love the school culture and the teachers. We are not a Spanish-speaking household but my daughter has picked up some words and phrases, which I LOVE. The playgrounds are new and everyone (staff and families) is friendly.

I have been at Marylin for few years now. I Currently have a Kindergartner and a Third grader there. I have had many positive experiences there. All the Teachers and staff work together as a Team to make education a priority to have a successful life. They provide lots of encouragement on the children to learn. They also make the school a great environment to be at. My two children look forward to go to school everyday. They Feel safe and are eager to learn something new everyday. I have been a parent volunteer in my children's classrooms and other areas in the school. The Teachers and staff made me feel welcomed since the first time I helped out.

This school is on the CUTTING EDGE of the latest teaching techniques - they have raised test scores among kids who are English Learners. My kids LOVE their teachers, and the school feels like a home for them. Outstanding office staff and principal!! This school is in a low-mid income neighborhood with a majority of students who are immigrants - YET they have overcome the challenges with excellent teaching. My kids learn about new cultures and become tolerant of differences in the process.

I have a 3rd grader and a 1st grader and I am also an educator. I was welcomed by the staff to come for a tour and to interview the principal and teachers before we enrolled our boys. I was impressed by the differentiated instruction and that all kids were getting taught to their individual needs. Plus my boys LOVE going to school and have made quick friends there.
