My child had a positive experience at this school. His fourth teacher, Ms. Geffner, differentiated instruction to meet his needs. She was a positive mentor whose excellent classroom management skills made his experience very positive. His previous teachers were also very good and he has learned a lot. I would definitely recommend this school.

This is in response to the parent's review. I am of the teaching profession, and I am sorry this happened to you. I wish you would have insisted on your child switching classes. ( i will be sharing secrets now) english only classes means the majority of students in the class have english as their first language. The " other" class only means that students started with another language as their primary language . It does not mean necessarily that these second group of students do not perform as well , usually just as well, as the "english only" class. In addition, the teaching in these " other" classes requires more hands on/ more use of complimentary resources. In other words, good teaching practices. I hope this helps erase taboos about english support classes vs. English only classes. (forgive my editing, as it is difficult typing by phone :))
