Great, my kids love coming to school everyday.

I am a parent and my child has been attending Brockton Avenue Elementary School for three years now. In that time, I have been thrilled to see the changes that have been taking place at Brockton. Under the leadership of the new principal and along with the new office and support staff and many new teachers, the school has placed a greater and more intense focus on reading and math curriculum and new ways of instructing. The entire staff has been collaborating and instituting many fresh, new ideas. Brockton Elementary has created amazing new partnerships with UCLA and the YMCA. They added a physical education program, dance and music, as well as after-school enrichment such as Coding and Robotics. Family participation has dramatically increased and the new Parent Center provides workshops and resources for Brockton families. My child feels safe and is happy to be part of a community where all the students know each other. Brockton staff and parents truly go above and beyond for the students!

This little Westside gem has excellent, caring teachers who nurture all the children in a warm. loving environment. The children are given awards on their many accomplishments each week in the morning assemblies. The staff is truly interested in each child's progress. A safe environment and a caring atmosphere....that's Brockton!
