Dolores Huerta Elementary School

I have nothing but praise to give about Dolores Huerta. I have a 4th grader and a 1st grader who attend this school. And I couldn't be happier. The quality of learning they have been receiving has been excellent. The teachers are caring and committed to their students. The principal and the rest of the staff are helpful and friendly. I find them to be professional yet approachable. As a parent I appreciate that aspect, as I feel comfortable communicating with them. Should I have any questions or concerns I know they will be glad to assist me in any way they can. The school is kept clean and safety is always first.I find Dolores Huerta elementary school to be a wonderful learning atmosphere, and I am proud to say my children attend this school.

the school is great and my kids like it and the staff are very nice

This my 2nd year at the school and I love it! The school staff is amazing and friendly. The school campus is clean. The principal now, Ms. Ansley-Gutierrez is amazing! She greets the students and parents every morning at the gate. One of the things that I LOVE about her is that safety is very important. She also LOVES parent involvement. There is a great Parent Center for the volunteers to work in. She WANTS parent volunteers to be involved in the school. I also want to mention Ms. Lopez and as Ms. Molina, they are fabulous!

Why can't I go in and talk to my child's teacher? I have to wait till after school to address an issue? I am not going to deal with this teacher for a whole year. This has to stop
