Very good, easy to get information and paperwork at the front office. Almost everyone I spoke to about this school really likes it and is glad they enrolled.

I have been very happy at Grand View Boulevard for over four years. No school is perfect, but Grand View has been an amazing place for my children to learn and grow. Not only is there a truly diverse student body, but the learning opportunities and abundant. My children have risen to the occasion and are well prepared for more.

My son joined Grand View in the first grade and it was the best decision we could have made for him. We were concerned at first that he would struggle learning Spanish because we are an English-speaking household, but only a couple of months in, he was already confidently practicing his language skills. The teachers at this school are fantastic. They care about the academic success and emotional well-being of their students, and I am so impressed by the differentiated learning that has been happening. My son has been challenged in the areas where he excels and given extra help where he struggles. They also have so many extras: gardening, cooking, library, art, and more. The parent community is very passionate and there are many opportunities to be involved if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s hard to express what makes Grand View so great because there are so many things, but the best thing for me is that my son actually looks forward to going to school and is going to leave elementary school bilingual!

I love this school. In addition to the regular curriculum, there are a lot of extras. There is a terrific garden/cooking program. Children perform weekly at the assemblies. Music, art and dance are big parts of the culture of this school. Many LAUSD teachers send their kids to this school. I really feel that I have all of the advantages of a private school with the true diversity of a public school.
