Wilshire Crest Elementary School

We have enjoyed our time at this small school. It is a clean facility, has a welcoming environment and the staff is familiar with all of the students. There are events and programs and ways for volunteers to support the school. In addition, teachers are willing to help students if they need extra attention/guidance and the principal is available to answer questions and concerns.

The Dual language program is a growing gem in this part of LA! The students learn in a 70/30 model with a lot of stimulation to develop both languages. The school has adopted a GCI mathematics approach which is both rigorous and fun for the students. The school has many specials such as: music classes, a local garden program with cooking classes, science with STEM projects and fun activities lead by the PTA. The campus is spacious, clean and beautiful! The staff is caring and friendly. Overall a wonderful place to learn!

Is really great, I love how is small and the staff is soo nice , the ladies in the office knows you and they are so sweet! They have garden , the kids learn how to take care of it and they also have health cooking classes using all the veggies and fruits from the garden. They have a good after school program and a big area to run and playground . I really like .

I was a site coordinator here at Wilshire Crest. This school has such a great environment which is set from the principal all the way to the janitorial staff. It is truly a great school and I recommend sending your kids here.
