Lexington Elementary School

My son started at Lex as a 4th grader and we can only really speak to that experience since the COVID Pandemic derailed 5th grade quite significantly for all Districts across the nation. This school is a gem; we wish we had moved to LG hills back in kinder so he could have started at Lex. Fourth grade teacher was exceptional based on any criteria. Most importantly, the school does walk the walk with regards to bullying and influencing/building compassionate social skills. The curriculum is academically challenging in an atmosphere of inclusion, support and compassion. The school’s IB mission is achieved with flying colors. We loved our time at Lex and wish it didn’t have to end.

We love Lexington Elementary! I am a big fan of the IB approach, and I definitely feel like my son is being challenged to think more broadly than I was when I went to school. I think his teachers have been great, and I have no complaints about leadership.

I’m very disappointed in this school and how the ratings continue to drop shows why.
