Sequoia Elementary School

The school motivates the kids to stay ahead on their grades.

I'm just moving into the area and play a very active role in my child's education and his school. I recently called their administration office to expedite the process of transferring my son into their school from a military installation. The woman who answered was extremely rude, was incapable of giving me any useful guidance, and had told me my efforts were pointless. First impressions are lasting impressions, and I should have called this office before even deciding to move into the district. This PTA will be in for a wide awakening.

Sequoia is a great school. The people's comments below are irrational. This is one of the largest schools in Manteca and it is absolutely imposible to babysit almost 1000 children. The yard supervisors are not babysitters.

I personally think this school is fantastic because it has such a great teaching staff especially in Junior High. The teachers in Junior High are very interested in the students grades and enjoy the students and the students enjoy there teachers.The junior High teachers are determined to help the children in anything they need help on.The teachers are practically always available after school to help the kids out. The staff at Sequoia are great but the yard supervisors there aren't the best.... there is probably lik 3 yard supervisors who no what they are doing.But overall this school is fantastic. Thank you!
