The school cares more about its staus than the students and parents. The staff could give little to no care about you and they also hate their jobs, excluding the <1% that are the exact opposite. Emailing school pricipals is like trying to email a wall, you never get your reply. The majority of students are always trying to pick up a fight. Kids are around every corner smooching. Students tend to break the rules. Substance abuse is a common thing along with drug deals. School staff tend to choose “favorites” thus excluding other students who schools have equal opportunities to engage in academics. School tends to lie a lot, just like how they tried to cover up the fact that they have little to no security on technology servers (this means unwanted eyes watching your every move and knowing probable personal data). Staff disregards most illegal actions and tries to be one sided on debates; therefore, supporting only side they favorite. Leadership is non-existent. Bullying is kept behind closed doors and may not be resolved. Learning opportunities are only there for those interested in becoming business tycoons. Racial prioritizing is common. Some staff is welcoming and follows/teaches what is right and will make a student successful. School security is amazing but limited. Overall campus is kept clean by two janitors, so it is mostly dirty with food everywhere. Bathrooms smell like drugs most of the time. Gang activity may be prevelant. Character is very debatable as it feels like sometimes kids are taught and sometimes they are not. So no this school is not great, unless you like lies to be told you most frequently.

This school cared more about status quo and hometown heroes than the success of every student. The principal screened all his calls and don't respond to emails because parents and students are irrelevant to him. Our bond tax is a waste of money.

I'm not going to lie, this is a great school, and my son really enjoys it here, but I've had a bad experience. Beautiful campus, friendly staff, but some don't take their job seriously. I don't live in the Gregori district, and I felt this school was better for my son, so he's stay with his cousin that lives in the district. My neighbor, who's son transferred to the school after my son said he was going, put a restraining order on my son. She went to the school on the SECOND day, to report that my son is supposedly still living at my house. The vice principal lied to us, saying that investigators came out, when they didn't. Then told us that he had to go to Davis based on what my neighbor said. My son came back two days later after talking to the the main principal, and everything went smooth. A month after that, my son's friend showed him a post made online by my neighbor's son saying that he would drown him, so I told my son to screenshot the post and show it to the vice princiupal, and he said, "I'll let you know what happens tomorrow." We never heard from him again. My son even said that when he was talking to him, and he sounded uninterested and wasn't taking it serious.

An excellent academic program to rival all local high schools. A newer school (4 years old) with excellent facilities. Their Small Learning Communities create relevance and connect students to the curriculum. The modified block schedule is beneficial in many respects. Tremendous attention to taking care of the "whole" student is a priority. Student attendance is the highest in all of MCS, as well as the safest campus in MCS. The extracurricular and athletic program offerings are second to none in Modesto City Schools.
