My experience at this school so far has been pretty bad. It's not the teacher, it's t=what the teachers have been giving. I've had a lot of homework and barely been able to keep up with it all.

The overall experience at this school is okay, but the administration is really killing the spirit and effectiveness at the school. Parents and students feel detached, and teachers are leaving in droves.

Valley View High School is a very unique high school. I enjoy attending it as well as others. For its small size, students have great spirit. Our football and basketball games have great support from the students. We also have a variety of clubs to join, which allows the students to interact with each other and make friendships. Academically we are strong in our district. We could be stronger if students work harder. We have great teachers, offer AP courses, and offer tutoring. However, with all the positives there are areas of improvement. Our school is small, so I feel it can expand to give the students more space on campus. The lunch is not the best and can improve if we get better food. I don't eat school lunch. Our technology is up to date, but we don't have any e readers or tablets like other schools do. If we can get them, we can improve our education. Also our football field need renovation as well as our cafeteria. It also won't hurt to fund our sports programs a little more, but we don't have the money. If our school is able to win this $5,000 it will only mean great achievements. It will improve the education of many students and can transform their lives.
