Paradise Valley/Machado Elementary School

Horrible leadership, but wonderful staff and teachers. The last two principals were both awful, the school psychiatrist is horrible. The superintendent doesn’t care about the students, he just cares about saving money.

10/10 - Moving from the East Coast to West we were astonished by the quality of education we witnessed first hand and lack of investment the bay area public school system provided. But then we moved to Morgan Hill and found Paradise Valley and were extremely pleased across many levels. It was never a surprise as to why they had such a long wait list for those who lived outside of its zone. Administration always cared first and foremost for the students. Parent support was outstanding. If there was ever an issue, of which no school is void of, it was handled and resolved with urgency and care to those involved. Both our children received the confidence and foundation one needs in elementary school to progress to the next level. In addition, enjoyed additional extracurricular activities that suited their individual interest. Both of our children continue to excel academically and holistically as a result. We were so pleased to see its evolution to an Engineering Academy and have no doubt students will continue to flourish.

PVEA has become my home away from home. I love the staff, the students, the parents, and the strong community feel. There is no other school that I would rather be a part of!
