I've had a son go through Crittenden and have another son that is still there. It's been a very positive experience for them. My son, now in high school, was well prepared for high school and is taking advanced classes. They both love/loved all the after school sports the school offers.

Both of our children are in their first year in the MVW School district. We are a military family and we have been exposed to six different public schools across the nation. Crittenden Middle School is by far the most spectacular. The staff enhances the learning experience by utilizing technology, such as 3D printers in the computer lab and Internet communications between the home and school, for all classes. The school maintains the more traditional school electives, such as orchestra, choir, and guitar, to name a few. There are also after school programs to include sports, musicals, art, robotics, and a supervised program to keep students on campus and engaged into the early evening. Lots of options for students and for their parents, too. The teachers are inspiring, encouraging, and frankly pretty strict. The principle is always easy to reach. We love it here. We would retire here, if we could afford it. If you’re a military family and you get stationed here, you lucked out!

We love Crittenden! My daughter is a student at Crittenden and loves it. She has had a great experience learning and socializing. She feels comfortable reaching out to her teachers, teachers are welcoming and helpful. I know many of the students due my work volunteering in schools and Girl Scouts, they all seem happy and thriving as healthy happy pre-Teens.

My sister went to this school and was bullyed pretty badly by students and staff. I was absolutely shocked at how unprofessional they were at handling this issue. It was a very hard time in all of our lives. I do have to say that if you are millitary or prior millitary make sure you know whats going on in your son/daughters life because my sister was tormented by the students because of that. They would call my sister and my family baby killers. Just all around bad experience. I really wish the staff would have stepped in and provided help instead of turning cheek. So sad.
