Oak Hills High School

Horrible!My son is being bullied not by fellow students but by his teacher a vice principal and other staff. He has a learning disability so he struggles he also plays tennis and is pretty good when he was playing tennis on the varsity team his grades came up, he also likes to write rap songs. He had some of the words wrote in his private Journal and was suspended for 6 weeks from the team. After several attempts of speaking with the school and in his IEP meeting and to the principal they wouldn't budge. now they are trying to find anything they can to stop him from playing. My son has been depressed his grades have dropped and now they won't let him play because of his grades. How can they take something away that benefits a child with a disability? This used to be a good school...

I have been a student at oak hills and will definitely miss it when I graduate. I have met some of my closest, best friends there. They offer so many wonderful classes. The avid here offers so many great opportunities and field trips. The career center is so motivating. The sports teams are amazing, so are the coaches. The football team rocks. Go bulldogs(:

This is my final year of being here at Oak Hills, and as a senior, I can definitely say that I will miss this school. The teachers are wonderful, always there to lend a hand. Some students from different schools deem it to be "strict", but in reality, we are very education oriented. If you want to succeed in life while making new friends and having a blast, this school is for you. If you are the type of person that gets hung up over banned "gang" related clothing/signs or a malicious and non-work oriented person, maybe you should consider else where.
