Some very strong, hardworking teachers that do their best and a beautiful community of children and families. All of this said, the current leadership seems to lack investment and interest in the community. Very little follow through when parents ask for support from leadership and issues tend to go undressed. New teachers seem unsupported and burnt out. Troubling dynamics between the SEED and Manzanita Community School, who share a campus.

Awesome and amazing school with lots of support. Parents amd teacher are very involved..

Our student has been at SEED from K on and is almost done. We have loved the diversity of students, the dual immersion, and the expeditionary learning. But, there are challenges with communication, adequate resources, and inclusion of working parents who don't have flexible schedules. As someone else said, things have been going downhill the past few years and teacher turnover seems very high. It's a shame because the school has a lot of potential but keeps struggling.

My daughter just started kindergarten here and, so far, we are very happy with the school. She made friends right away and is excited to go to school each day. Her teacher, Sr. Pastrana, is top notch and his Spanish is excellent. Her Spanish immersion experience seems to be very rich, she is already coming home with Spanish words.
