Skyline has been a pleasant surprise. The teachers are young and top notch - most are UC educated and bring a unique perspective to a diverse school such as Skyline. Most parents get scared of the demographics but the kids are kids and our daughter feels safe. The teachers have been remarkable during covid with cooking classes on zoom after school and always available for 1:1 extra help.

terrible school, the counselors do not try at all to help students drop classes that they are failing. teachers do not care about students

This is my first year at Skyline, and overall I love it. Coming from another OUSD school, Skyline is incomparable. As a teacher, I feel overall supported, I love the kids that I teach unconditionally and I love the classes that I teach.

The school has tried to spend most of its resources to remedial teaching with minimal support and disciplinary problems. The school admin was asking staff to not write referrals in order to reduce the suspension rate. Do not send your kids here.
