It is an amazing school. I went from Kinder to 5th Grade. (I left in 2016) There weren't many teachers per grade. There wasn't any drama or problems but some teachers were very opinionated.

This school is horrible. Bad parents, bad students, bad teachers. They do not effectively deal with school bullies or physical fights among students.

This is my second year as Principal of Golden Poppy Elementary and I cannot say enough good things about students, staff, and parents we have here. For the second year in a row our test scores have increased along with our parent participation and PTA. I look forward to this year as we continue to implement a model that demands high levels of learning for all students!

The principal at this school is one of the best ever! Golden Poppy is phenomenal! I absolutely love this school. This school has changed my son's life. He was struggling really bad with school. He couldn't read or anything at all, I almost gave up hope. He attended Joshua Hills before Golden Poppy. Joshua Hills never helped him and was sending him to 3rd grade on a Kindergarten level. Once he attended Golden Poppy, the principal immediately placed him in the class he needed to be in, he was also placed in tutoring and interventions. Mrs.Berry and other teachers took out time to personally come up with a plan for him and to help him the best way they can. My kids have no complaints. I am now here to say that my son has improved over 80%. He is now reading, and he has confidence. He said "Mom I love Golden Poppy so much, my teachers have really helped me and I can read now"! I cried. I am so grateful for the principal Mr.Beardsley, Mrs.Berry, Ms.Noble, and for everyone there who has helped my kids. Thank you guys for going above and beyond for my son as well as other kids :-)
