Palo Verde Elementary School

I have been very happy with my child's teachers and experience at this school. Although they do not officially support different levels for math, reading, etc, after completing the required work, my child has been given advanced work along with a group of kids who would otherwise be bored. This school places a lot of emphasis on supporting others, anti-bullying, bucket filling. The teaching methodology has been top notch. For example in kindergarten their only homework was 20 min of reading per night and there has been a consistent emphasis on reading comprehension, story writing and editing. Also good science curriculum. The onsite after care is also great.

Great, well-rounded school! Excellent teachers, principal, and staff. Very caring, active, diverse group of down-to-earth parents. Palo Verde values asset building, social and emotional development, as well as academics.
