San Rafael Elementary School

We have had a wonderful first year at this school and look forward to this coming year. The community, parent involvement, staff and communication is beyond what we could have imagined! Very lucky to be a part of SRE!

I feel like I totally scored getting my children into this school. The principal is an effective leader who cares and the staff is highly qualified.

We just joined SRE this year and it has been a great experience! The Kindergarten program is amazing! Our daughter did not speak any Spanish prior to last year and now she can understand most everything that she is asked in Spanish and reply in Spanish sometimes. The school is very diverse and most of the families that we have met are very nice. There is an expectation that all family's will contribute to the school, either with time, money, or both because many of the programs are funded solely through parent donations and fund raisers. We live in the neighborhood and were leaning toward private school, but we decided to give SRE a try and we are SO glad that we did. We are excited to be a part of such a wonderful community!

Our family's experience at San Rafael has been exceptional. Our kids are learning first-hand what it means to be part of a diverse and multicultural community, and the parents consistently provide the administration and teachers with support.
