Taft Elementary School

Uxbridge is an average community. Your child will learn to read, write, and do math. You will need to supplement your child with enrichment activities if you have a child who is a typical learner. (Typical meaning follows the rules, completes work and academics come easily with guided instruction). If you need accommodations for your child you will need to be on top of it. The school is in a town that does not have much revenue. Many of the teachers work hard to teach your child that basics and curriculum of the common core. There is a strong sense of country living and simple life in the town. There are stable teachers with average, entry leadership skills.

My niece was in kindergarten a few years back and decided she was done with class. She walked out of the classroom and off the campus on her own. Luckily she arrived home safely. We were never contacted by the school. In fact, WE had to call the school and let them know that they were missing a 5 year old student.
