Collett Elementary School

Collett has been a great school for my children. My children love their teachers and have had great experiences. I am very pleased with the education they have been given.

These reviews are very outdated. I have had no problems with the school or the staff. My daughters reading level doubled in her first year there and she continues to make improvements.

They don't care about the people who live in the surrounding fence, the teachers aren'tw watching the students at recess, I have video, they allow children to harass dogs by kicking the fence. As well as throwing items in the yard. Now the school didn't think we'll we should let the people know that we will be doing some construction so it may wake your sleeping babies or the irate mother who has been up all night. Nope instead let's yell and rev the engine of the truck. Thank you for having courtesy for your neighbors, I will never send my children here just because of the lack of respect for the neighbors.

As a student intern and former student I felt bullied by the teacher I had to work with. I knew more about working with special needs kids than she did and i felt she was very unprofessional. My work with the students was superior and I love what I do, but she just doesnt see potential talent. I had to move to another room where I thrived!. Because of my second positive experience I am now thriving teaching special needs high school students. The principal also was very intimidating and she seemed to have little patience for people. Student interns beware, not a pleasant work enviornment to be in.
