Great school. My sons went to three different elementary schools. San Diego unified was a nightmare and I had to move to Carmel Valley to get my sons quality Teachers but also quality environment. I moved to this area specifically because of the bullying, hateful Teachers, and complete neglect of the San Diego Unified schools. Carmel Del Mar not only has amazing Teachers, they have a Principal who is attentive to your concerns, and the fellows students are pleasant and considerate. The sixth grade promotion for my oldest son was filled with tears of joy. The Teachers, Principal, Parents, and students cried because there is a true bond and caring for one another. We love Carmel Del Mar!

I think this school provides a very healthy and happy environment for children to grow up and learn. Children are always smiling at the end of the school day. Children are doing well because parents in this community are active and engaging in the school and most of the teachers are trying their best.
