Distance learning has laid bare how bad this school is. The test scores have always been terrible and it was always explained away that the kids had trouble using the computers or some other environmental distraction. There are a number of bully kids who fight in class and the kids that are there to learn are forced to evacuate to the hallway. This is a regular occurrence in multiple classes in multiple grades. The previous leadership was ineffectual and the new leadership is MIA. Now with distance learning we are getting a better picture of the learning than we have had previously. Comparing assignments and schedules with what kids are doing in other schools has been eye opening. There are good teachers there but their efforts are often not enough.

Horrible. There is so much drama at this school! I wish we would have gotten out sooner. I’m only hoping my child will be able to catch up.

Our daughter is finishing 2nd grade and our experience so far has been great. She has a good academic level, and also she has been exposed to social justice curriculum wich is important to us too. She loves her school.

There is a lot of bullying in the school and the teachers and administrative staff undermine the issue. Nothing has been done even though a lot of kids are bullied.
