Revere (Paul) Elementary School

Dismal. I have taught in several public schools in Oakland and this school, despite the goodwill and good energy of many of the teachers and support staff, was plauged by disruption in classes. When my grandson came home and said that an adult had been hit by a child when he came into the classroom to restore order was when I removed both my grand-kids.

My son was there since pre k to 4th gradr now he is 5th on a different school he gets bullied or bothered by other kids everyday and nothing has improve since we where there some staff are great has been there for years but the principal and v. Principal changes alot teachets come and go aswell.

Worst in 74 years! Involved in the SSC ,PTA, ELAC,AAPAG.

I love the teachers, staff and community at Paul Revere and have 2 children in the Spanish Immersion program. Every teacher we have had has been very invested in building relationships with kids and families and enjoy teaching andengaging learnets. Both my kids have progressed in all areas in both languages. The diversity of kids and staff is what also makes the school a special place. Latino, African American and Asian Pacific Islander Arts are taught yearly and culminate in a community performance which honors cultural diversity traditions and history.
