Del Mar High School

horrible. Over all, if you have money, put your kids in private school or home school. If i knew this school is so bad, i would not put my kid in this school at all. This public school is all about LGBT.

So far very good - we are happy to see our son strive. We are glad that we send our son here instead of a private school. We can tell that the teachers and the principal are working very hard to strive and improve the reputation of Del Mar HS which was not always very positive in the past.

My son is in the 9th grade. As a parent, I am very happy with all of his teachers and the rigor of the curricula. His teachers actually teach, instead of just assign work. They take time to tutor or help after school, return email promptly, and are fair with their assignments/grading. All of his teachers are supportive and respectful. The class assignments make sense, and there is continuity across the subjects, in particular, in the area of writing. The Performing Arts/Band/Choir classes are exceptional and provide a great outlet for students to develop their musical abilities. I am very glad we stayed with the public school system.
