My 2 girls have been at Hellyer for two years, this will be the third year. I am beyond happy with this school. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond, and the effectiveness they have at teaching our kids and making them not only retain, but get excited about learning is amazing. If you want a great community and strong leadership to surround you children in their academic and social growth...this is the place to go!

Staff and teachers are great! Teachers work together, share ideas, and help, dedicate time to their students ! And they do it because they are teachers who live their jobs and students!

At the surface, this is a really good school. My daughters have been in 1st - 3rd and K - 1st grades. Curriculum is good. Safety could be an issue. There are cases of kids picking on other or smaller kids. Kids will argue and push each other around, but I think of a lot of that comes from the families up bringing. I've witness the students' relatives attitudes and manners during event gatherings, some of them are rude. I'm considering moving or sending my daughters to private school. They have the after school program to help students with homework and activities. It's more like a day care center to me.
