I am a current student at this school and I can say for the most part it is ok! But some problems I have is with all the cursing at this school, people are constantly putting up the middle finger and saying the “b-word” and the “f-word” non-black students at this school also say the n-word, this school needs to do better with their black students inside and out of the classroom, if you also look at the stats above you can see that black students are not excelling as their White, Hispanic, and Asian counterparts. I find that disappointing because as a black student here I think it’s sad for them to be discriminating against their students because of their race. The good part of this school is some of the teachers are actually good, nice teachers. Some of them I can say are not so great, and as for online school I think it’s ok but the teachers assign homework that is too much and makes me stressed. Other than that I don’t really have any problems with the school.

Extremely disappointing. The administration is a disgrace.

Rio Norte is a school that I as someone who has been in 7th, and 8th grade know is a pretty underwhelming school. If you want a supportive environment, look for a different school, but if you want your child to grow up fast, sign your child up. One thing I can say this school did, as someone who has practically raised my self-character could say, this school will not make your child strive for excellence unless your child shows potential in striving for something greater, but if you want to expose your child to how the world is not perfect, go to this school.

What a great school! The teachers are caring and well-prepared. The students are smart and respectful.
