Ralph Dunlap Elementary School

We love this school! Teacher and staff are amazing. School families have great participation.

While Dunlap attempts to provide quality education to its students, it misses the mark in including students with differences in school wide and grade level education, especially at the lower grades.

Ralph Dunlap School is amazing. My family has lived in Orcutt for 50 years and three generations have attended Ralph Dunlap School. The faculty and staff are wonderful and caring. I am a mom and grandmother and the first generation to graduate from Dunlap and consider myself a great witness to the school growth and success over the years.

All schools have issues and this one does too. I believe in honesty amongst the principal and parents when bad things happen but this school just tries to cover it up. Not letting the parents know what has gone on. Most of the teachers are great teachers, a few should be replaced but can't because of tenure. Leadership all the way up the ladder seems to want to hide wrong doings and protect the guilty not the innocent. I have very mixed feelings about the school. I'm sure no perfect school is out there, but this one isn't as great as people seem to think it is.
