My experience back then at this school was great, so I decided to bring my child to SRMS that way he can be successful in the future. Bringing my child to this school was a horrible mistake that I made. He continuously tells me how much he hates that school, but yet never told me why. Until one day he finally told me why he didn't like the school. The reason why was because he said that the teachers don't teach him well enough and how he always struggles in class because of it. He's told me many things and one of them was that he hasn't really learned much at that school. At first I thought maybe it was because he had friends that would distract him in class, I was wrong he did have classes with some friends but the class he was struggling with he didn't have his friends around. So he begged me for so long to talk tp the district but I didn't, instead I was looking for better schools with better ratings. Eventually, he moved schools to a way better school with no complaints. I thought bringing my child would be a good idea but I guess I was wrong.

Santa Rosa is a comprehensive school which helps educate students with academic rigor and hands on learning. The teachers are very caring and make sure the students are well preared for high school. SRMS is also unique in that it is very diverse in its student population, I would also recommend looking around to other middle schools in the area as it has to be a great fit for each student and family. My child attended SRMS in 2011 and 2010 and had a great experience taking advanced English and History, advanced math, participated in sports, clubs and benefitted tremendously. He is doing very well at Santa Rosa HS taking college prepatory and honors courses and we attribute SRMS to his success.

I went to this school when I was younger and so did my brother, cousins, and plenty of friends. Back then the school was one of the best. We actually had teachers that really cared about the students. They actually listened to the kids and tried to solve problems with them. Today I don't feel the same way about the school, my child goes there and things are a lot different. No one to really turn to for advice, that will actually listen and take you seriously. A lot of favoritism to me, not really taking the time to get to the root of the problem rather then pushing a family out of the school.
