Overall an amazing school staff and teachers are nice sometimes sttict and Principal's leardship is amazing students are treated fairly and special kids get the help they need and deserve.Bullying is very rare and in the end the bully and victim become friends or atleast not pick on each other. The Homework is fairly simple and almost no one complained about the homework.Overall an amazing school with great staff, principal and teachers Excellent homework and academic and test scores, bullying is rare and my expirence here really shaped starting off as the quiet and shy kid by the end i had gotten so many friends and socialized i became honest and never got bullied,i cannot thank this school enough for what i transformed me into and Recommend everyone near this school to come,Definitely one of the best schools in the area.

I referenced this site to evaluate the local schools prior to agreeing to move to this area. While the rating stars were low, I was encouraged by some of the reviews and supplemented my hopes with the fact that the "gifted" program would at least, be okay. I'm leaving this review because it's tragic that no one has offered a reality review recently. I'm appalled at the principal and office leadership at this school. Stay away from the LA's Best program here at all costs! They've screamed in my children's faces and embellished upon slanderous versions of "incidents" at the sake of saving their own necks. There is no such thing as homework help here either. The teachers complain about no budget and no support. The principal barks orders but seemingly has an inability to listen to a parent's responses or concerns. I give the teachers three stars here only because of the teachers in the gifted program. Otherwise, I would rate this as 0 stars across the board based upon last year in which the 2nd grade teacher sent home daily papers covered in unhappy face symbols for every 15 minute period of time that passed and continuously called us to complain about our ADD child. RUN!

My child has been at this school since 2009. It has since vastly improved. The test scores have improved dramatically with the help of the principal. She did a lot for this school, but unfortunately she is no longer there. This year was the first year with a new principal and I would say my opinion about him remains neutral. Nevertheless, my child is recieving a quality education in the G.A.T.E program.
