The students, such as city Mayor, councils are very lawless. They keep saying the grabbers who detain inside my home are my friends, family members or relatives, issued them building permits again and again without my consent or court order. Refuse to stop them but further protect them detain inside my home. They asked me to get a court order/judgment stating I'm owner of the property or get a ID showing my home address on it to enter my home. They also said Temple City is very small and safe, doesn't need police department; they can't verify identity. They keep delivering mails to my home although I reported vacant.

This is a safe school that requires improvement in many areas.

The community/surrounding area is nice and safe. The scores are high because there are lots of Asians, concerning parents, and students who go to SAT schools (I'm Asian myself, not being stereotypical). Most teachers are wonderful; but there are a couple who either don't know how to teach, or don't teach (probably because they don't have to anyway). As a former student, I felt the administration made no effort in knowing the students, especially the principal. Only one of the AP was kind enough to reach out to the students. I don't think the administration intended to be racist or anything, but many of us felt that the administration was only reaching out to the Caucasian students.

Oh yeah, it's a free education. Good value. People forget about this fact. Send your kids to a private school or move to San Marino if you can afford it. My advice is to save your money for college, graduate school and Phd. Here is what it might cost you at a private school for one child for 13 years... K-5($140,220) + 6th-8th grade ($82,410) + 9-12($124,920) = $347,550(per child) x 2 = $695,100 which is the price of a 3 br. 2 ba house in Temple City.
