It is straight up terrible honestly. I would reccomend you not send your child there.

My kids have going to this school for the past 7 years, since kindergarten. We have had nothing but a great experience at this school. All of our teachers have been great and we have not had any issues. The only downside is that we've had approx. 3-4 different principals in the last 7 years so I hope that our new principle stays and continues to enhance our school.

Both my daughters have studied here for the last 5 years. As parents we were very disappointed by the quality of the principal & the vice principal. teachers aregood but the music teacher is exemplary. It's saddening to see the rating drop from A to + b in a matter of 2 years.. I am glad we moved.

I was not pleased with the staff at Anthony Traina. There isn't diversity in teaching staff or staff. They do have an African American PE teacher but that's about it. It would be nice to have an African American full time in classroom teacher or at least a yard duty. I don't think that they understand how important diversity is for students. I did however find Mr. Day to be probably the best teacher that school has. If it weren't for him we would have left that school long ago. In all other classes I was told I could not sit in on any of my daughters classes. I was trying to figure out why school was no longer enjoyable. I thought I could go in and observe but I was told I had to make an appointment. I was quite disappointed that it seemed that I couldn't observe until the end of the year. All other dates from September-November didn't seem to work for the teacher. I have no idea what she was hiding but enough was enough already. I made the best decision to move my child out of that school. She has found love for education again and is enjoying school at another campus.
