Not great. Teachers are hit or miss and when you kiss you miss HARD. Hostile teachers who have comprehension problems and no idea how to deal with children or their parents

The school as a whole, poor. The biggest issue for the school is the lack of medical personnel and basic medical training. Many times i have seen parents ask "When is the Nurse available?" and the response is either "Sorry there is a nurse only on Fridays" or "We don't have one, we just call the parents". This is very unacceptable. When asked "What actions will you take if my child is choking?" the principal stated "We will call the parents first, then the emergency contact. If it's a REAL emergency, we would call an ambulance." Parents have asked for a medical staff to be hired and the response from the principal is "We don't need one because we don't have any diabetic kids", also no one within the staff is CPR qualified. ConclusionPrincipal is willfully ignorant, Teachers need to enforce discipline, Medical staff need to be hired and present during all school hours.

The attendance policy is terrible for military children because they are considered truant even when you give notice and receive the work for your child to do while absent. My daughters have attended K-1 and 4-5th grade there. Ms. Zuniga was a great (K) teacher and Ms Nelson (1). Ms. Buchananwas a very patient 4th grade teacher too. By far though Mrs. Mauk the 5th grade teacher deserves teacher of the year my daughter struggled last year doing homework for 2+ hours at the table and getting C's & even D's. This year she cut her homework in half and made Honor Roll :)
