Kester Avenue Elementary School

As far as the teachers go, this school is top notch. But the current principal sours my rating of the school. She lacks understanding, compassion, empathy, and people skills. She is more concerned about exercising her power.

For a school that has over 1000 students it is surprising how much of a close-knit community they foster here. The parents are super dedicated with a robust PTA and many other volunteer opportunities and it really does feel like a big family. Teachers whom we haven’t had in years still keep in touch with us. We love it here.

Wonderful school. We have a kinder student, with another one starting in a couple of years. We moved into the area for the school and are so glad we did!!!!

This school has been a saving grace for us. We had our son at a private school and he wasn’t thriving. At Kester they teach to the whole child and it’s a wonderful community as well.
