Absolutely horrible, do not send your child(ren) to this school. When my children were enrolled, there was no room for them at the other schools. My children ended up being homeschooled after attending this school. The whole staff lacks accountability, responsibility and respect. Field trips with this school are never on time, dates change with little notice, prices change, they are usually 1 to 3 hours late returning and give no notice to parents of the delay. When you question why you were not notified they place the blame on the children saying the child was supposed to call or text the parents letting then know they would be late, when the teacher is told the child does not have a cellphone the teacher responds, " that's not my problem ". Their claims are false... college ready school- false, zero tolerance for bullying-false, great staff that cares for students-false, safe environment-false.Honestly I am not sure how this school is still open and operating.

My children attended this school for the last 3 years. In those 3 years both of my children were bullied by other students and one of those 3 my son was bullied by a teacher. My daughter had to go to the hospital for being punched in the stomach by a student in a higher grade than her, she had her hand stomped on and broke skin where she had a bruise and was bleeding, she had been physically pushed several times. The teacher was almost impossible to get in touch with. My son was bullied every day, he was taken to the emergency room for a fractured elbow, which he got from another student shoving him to the ground during recess. He was accused of stealing from a student that had been bullying him all year, even after an investigation was done and it came out that he was set up by the bully, his teacher made him sit next to this student and both the student and teacher bullied him until I had him moved to another class. This teacher also kept giving my son a 0 for many assignmentstudents that he not only turned in but we're graded by her. As soon as he went to a new class we saw she had been doing this. I met with the principal on several occasions to discuss these matters, which she promised she would so something and never did. This year there is a new principal, I am hoping with the change comes a change in the way things are run. They sure need it. If you do not want your children to be physically hurt, and emotionally bashed by teachers and student then avoid this school.

The teachers truly care for their students, going above and beyond to create meaningful relationships.

My children really enjoy going to PDS. My son is special needs and sometimes has difficulty getting along with other students. However, PDS has a no tolerance for bullying and fighting and it is enforced. I have been contacted every time something happens with my children. If any foul play with other students goes on disciplinary action is taken with all students involved and they resolve the issues so there aren't any future problems with those same students, this from my own experience as a parent. Overall, I think PDS is a good school and would recommend this school to other parents.
