Foothill Oak consists of many wonderful teachers, however, dealing with the staff in the office is very frustrating. I feel that one secretary has ebarrassed my son, and that they are far too "busy" to answer parent questions.

my daughter just graduated fifth grade there and she loved all her teachers and the teachers worked very hard for their kids.

I had my two daughters attend this school for two years, each. The principal is very involved, but that doesn't equal a good education. The school's focus seems to be getting students to attend each day so they can get their federal funding and just pushing kids through day-to-day.
My child has been attending this school since it opened three years ago. It has consistently failed State requirements academically each year. There is very little parent involvement and there are no extracurricular activities.
I have 3 students newly enrolled this year at Foothill, and I think the teachers and principal are doing a wonderful job. They are all very involved with me. We communicate all of the time. I know the whole staff is very attentive.
