So far amazing. The principal is very hands on!

BAD. Not enough supervision on the yard and lunch area, so children chase each other and some get hurt. The children need to be taught how to play the outdoor games and be supervised in each play area. When adults talk to each other in the class and outside areas, they don't focus on the students and they don't see what is happening. There needs to be a teacher helper in every lower grade classroom to work with one group at a time or individual students. Each primary class needs to have three small reading groups divided by reading levels, so students can progress at their level. The Common Core curriculum used in all LAUSD classrooms is horrible academically and teaches immoral values! The report card has a place for history and social studies, but I didn't see a book or lessons for the lower grades in that subject. There was a science lab twice a month, but the teacher sometimes forgot to take the students there.

Great school,teachers and staff.Plenty of opportunity to get involve.My son loves going to school and likes his teachers.
