My daughter will be entering 1st grade in the Fall. I love the office staff and school nurse. The principal is in tune with the students and they love him. My daughter's kindergarten teacher was nice but not as communicative as I would've liked. PTA is the bomb and really hooks the kids up. Love this school so far and am looking forward to what the future bring. I wish they had a dual immersion program though

I have been repeatedly impressed with the staff and teachers at this school and have had 3 children attending for the past 5 years. The PTA's commitment to adding enrichment programs and the parent involvement is amazing!

My daughter has been going to this school for three years now. She started with the pre k program and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher Mrs. Schwarz. Also she was able to keep the same teacher for the following year in kindergarten. She just started 1st grade and so far....so good. I would reccomend this school to my friends and family.

As a parent and former student I had such high hopes for my children at Eastwood. The teachers my oldest child has had have been nurturing and helpful. The principal seems like she could care less if you have an issue. You get pacified just enough to not go any further ie the school district. The office staff are nothing short of rude and snobbish. The dynamics of the majority of the parents and PTA members are reminiscent of the cliques in jr. High. The bullying that goes on with the children definitely starts at home. The parents are no better. The principal has her head so far up their ( the PTAs) a**.that nothing could be done about these control freaks even if someone tried. Security is a joke as far as who can come and go on campus. If it weren't for the fact that my child has made some really great friends and I as well with those children's parents I would have put them in a completely different district. It's very disappointing to see what a joke this once stellar school has become.
