I am grateful to have attended this school. Although it got very difficult at times, I believe that it built endurance for me and taught to never be afraid of things that may seem challenging to me. It has taught me to power through and be strong in even the worst of times and I am extremely grateful for that. Above all else, it taught me to not only be a better student, but it also taught me to be a better human being by helping those around me reach their dreams as well.

As a graduate of the first graduating class, I am glad to say that my alma mater has made my academic career quite successful. I have received my Master's degree (as well as my B.A) by age 22, and am currently working a career job. I can say that the professionalism that HTPA teaches goes a long way, as I was one of the few students that went to college already knowing what to expect from the college environment. I was prepared, and excelled. I suggest sending your child here if you want them to be successful, disciplined academically, mature, and focused. Being a little school eliminates most of the high school drama (drugs, bullying, etc), because the kids bond and develop close relationships with each other and staff. Great school. Great concept. Great Teachers. Could improve in sports, as well as talented and gifted programs :)

All I can comment on is the administration, which seems to be lacking... for over two years I have had to complain about messages left on my answering machine about a child I don't have either missing classes or having detention. Despite multiple conversations with their staff, the problem has yet to be remedied. That such a small detail cannot be fixed- which does affect this school's relationship with the family, as it is not aware of the child's absences/detentions- does not instill any confidence in any of the school's other responsibilities.
