This school sadly needs a lot to fix, but my years here were okay. The music program here is incredible, and it is a great place to make friends. But the school has caught some students with drugs, and a lot of students who attend Douglass Middle School do drugs, vape, and do inappropriate stuff.

As a substitute teacher I really enjoy subbing here because the students are great and the teachers really care. The lesson plans left for me are not busywork, it's always related to the curriculum.

It's an ok school. Some parents involved. Short on programs such as AVID. Go just about any other city for a better education.
