The previous principal Mrs. Lewis was amazing. However the new principal leaves a lot to be desired. Not only does he treat minor infractions like the children are delinquents but he makes statements to parents that aren't completely truthful. Also they are trying to make themselves look good by setting hard academic goals for students that are enforced with detention.

T.L. Whitehead Elementary School went from the worst school in the District to becoming the best...Hand picked pincipal and teachers have improved this school...so, don't let out the secret...if you want a see a great school in action, volunteer! Join PTA and support the school financially...they have fun fundraisers that benefit all students...so, what are you waiting for? GO EAGLES!
