We're very happy we have this school for our two children.

We absolutely love Emerald Elementary! We have one child who is on an IEP and one who is an "average/normal" learner. Both have excelled at this school. All the staff I have interacted with really seem to care for the students. The principal, Mrs. Williams, is amazing, open, and communicative. The community is awesome as well. We love how diverse the school is and how it celebrates other cultures. The school works hard to promote kindness and tolerance among the students. We had one issue with bullying, but the teacher and principal worked right away to resolve the situation. I can honestly say my kids love going to school everyday. We cannot recommend Emerald enough!

I would rate this school a 5/5. My son was in preschool with Julia Pfitzer and my other son was in Kindergarten with Margaret Novaria during the 2018-2019 school year. I have to say that these two women are wonderful teachers and really care for the well-being of their students. They actively kept communication open with me and ensures my boys were doing well in their classes; their teachers aides did an amazing job as well. My kids LOVED going to school and really enjoyed having these two women as their teachers. I also want to say that the SLP, Janet Glasser, has done a wonderful job with building my sons confidence in speech and his improvements are noticeably different at home and in the community; I appreciate the work she has done! I have nothing but good things to say about the overall experience and can’t wait to see what Emerald has in store for my kids.

Emerald is a true gem - led by an energetic principal who cares about every single student (she knows every kid by name within about a week of school starting) and is present in the halls and classrooms every day. The teachers and support staff are passionate about education and work hard to reach each student wherever they are. Emerald is part of the No Place for Hate program and is very inclusive of all students from all backgrounds. Every child has the opportunity to thrive at this school.
