School cultivates bullying. Teachers ignore inappropriate behavior. Your child will be a target unless they are willing to fit into a mold. administration at the district level refuses to address the bullying and anti-diversity atmosphere.

My child has had a wonderful experience this year! He has been challenged, is excited about learning, and has the appropriate amount of homework. Any concerns he has had, he has addressed it with his teachers and/or counselor and they have always been supportive. The principal does a wonderful job communicating with families on the positive things that have been happening with students. He also has been informative about their overall state performance. I appreciate him being so forth coming and wanting parents to be informed. No school is perfect but if parents are involved in their child's education, it becomes a positive outcome for all.

We've had a great experience CR with this school. My child has had a good experience overall. Teachers seem helpful. We just returned from conferences and appreciated that my child's teachers all took time to talk with us and give helpful feedback. Junior high can be challenging in general and my child is happy and content with the environment. To me, that speaks volumes.

My sons are now in their second year at Mesa Middle School and what I have experienced is very few teachers that genuinely care if children are learning or not. Also, there is lots of bullying, racism, behavioral issues on the bus and at school that is tolerated. I have shared and raised several concerns with the principle and assistant principle and no action or improvement has been seen. I encourage my children to seek guidance and problem solve but when they have brought incidents of bullying and racist remarks to the principle's attention they have been ignored or they have been told that my children are the problem. Adults that cannot provide children with positive guidance should not be in education.
