We have four children all of whom have very different personalities and learning needs. The teachers are incredible, and every year they take the time to get to know them, their learning needs, and push them to show “GRIT”—best effort, respect, and trying again if you make a mistake. Bullying is not tolerated. The principal leads with integrity and and wisdom, and he is an excellent role model. The teachers are experienced and empowered to lead specific to their class needs by the principal. Helping others and compassion for others is demonstrated by all. We are so happy to be a part of the Appleton family.

The principal of this school has created a family atmosphere that is incredible. The teachers are so dedicated, and there is so much parent involvement. This school is amazing.

We transferred into Appleton mid year from another local charter school. We were surprised at how far behind our daughter was! The teacher she was assigned to spent tons of extra time with her. After 8 weeks, shes right where she should be and even a little ahead! Teacher sends me text messages on a regular basis to keep me informed on progress at school and how to help at home. My child is actually HAPPY and LOVES being an Appleton Bookworm!

Things have changed a LOT since my children first started going to Appleton many years ago. It is NOT the 10 school it once was. Too many changes academically as well as staff..... Old tried and true methods work best which is why the school went from a 10 to a 6 in testing. Sad.
