Racism, bullying, singling out, LGBTQ is not supported here and kids are quick to call kids out for being different. It feels like a prison and the staff sets the tone of that school. Most awful experience we have ever had at a school. It's a mix and very wealthy and lower income families, so creates a strange environment. Would not recommend this school at all. Better off homeschooling then subjecting your kids to this place.

Teachers are good. Rampant bullying and sexual harassment of students by other students drove us to leave.

I currently have an 8th and 6th grader at West. Middle School is a tough transition period in life. My kids have had teachers that care so much and have taught them such incredible things.

The teachers are really wonderful. They care deeply about the subjects they teach and the kids they teach. However, the administration ignores/tolerates rampant bullying throughout all the grades. While my child has learned a lot and has loved their teachers, the bullying has made the overall West experience pretty terrible.
