My child has been a student at Laurene Edmondson for K-5 years. The staff is amazing.

My son has attended Edmondson for two years now and we love it! The teachers and staff are excellent! Mrs. Malik is a caring principal who knows and has concern for each and every student. The STEM program provides opportunities for students to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning activities. And the school cultivates an atmosphere of kindness, respect, and learning.

What great community. Students are known and supported by all. The staff consistently pull together to serve the community and student in everyway possible. There is such excitement in teaching and learning, especially with the STEM focus. Problem based learned seems to excite and energize the students. My children now have personal ways to relate to issues they will one day need to find solutions to. Lego Robotics, Cardboard Challenge, Genius Hour are al excellent examples of projects that excite these kids. Trish Malik is an incredible leader taking each students best interest to heart. The staff at Edmondson are very focused on outcomes and it shows in their classrooms each day.

We have had a student at LEES for the last 9 years. In that time, things have changed and evolved in such a positive way! The implementation of STEM has really changed things for the better. Not just for the school, but students, parents and the community. Our kiddos are excited to go to school, they can't wait for Winter break/Spring break/Summer vacation to end. We often catch them playing school at home, and hear them mimic things that are taught in the classroom. This tells me that they are not only absorbing what is being taught, it tells me that they enjoy HOW they are being taught. The staff is amazing at keeping parents informed as well as involved. I enjoy walking into the building and knowing that my kids are in good hands while they are there. They are quick to address any concerns you may have or help in any way they are able. It takes a team effort for the best outcome for our children and they are quick to join the team.
