This is a save face school, unable to address its internal issues. Bullies are real and not addressed. Students who attack others are not addressed even with teachers seeing it.

The administration, school board and community care only about sports, not academics. Bullying is rampant towards anybody not conforming to the athletics-focused and narrow-minded blanket covering the community/school. The arts are of no importance. No real music program (no band, orchestra, choir). No real language program (not even Spanish). There are no music teachers and no foreign language teachers anymore because of "money", but hundreds of thousands of dollars are being requested for a track around the football field. PE is held EVERY day for 1 1/2 hours (since that's when the team practice is held - not AFTER school as is usually the case). But, core classes are every OTHER day. When one coach is gone during class time, the math teacher of another grade cancels math studies and takes them out for another PE class while covering. Shouldn't there be a substitute? Religion is prevelant in this PUBLIC SCHOOL'S classrooms. Students are asked to raise their hands if they believe in God. Lessons spent talking about the 10 Commandments, Noah and the Flood, etc. The Spelling Bee sponsor (also long-time member of the school board) has told student participants at Spelling Bee practice that, "No Muslims should be allowed in our country." These are just a few examples of MANY. Would not recommend sending your child here if education, not sports, is your primary focus.
