Excellent. New Lebanon School is Greenwich's best kept secret. Students of all abilities achieve and grow not only academically but as citizens of the world through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. A new state of the art school building will open in early 2019 which will draw students from throughout town to this inter-district magnet school.

It is one of the best if not the best in the town of Greenwich. It also teaches the IB curriculum. Teachers are top notch. It’s like a private school but better. Diversity is great, it’s like the United Nations.

ISD is a magnet school which means that if you are not zoned for the district, you must apply for the lottery and have the luck to be selected to get in. Fortunately, we are one of the lucky ones that have been given the opportunity to be apart of the ISD community. My son is just finishing up Kindergarten and had such a great experience. I find it incredible that the school has the ability to teach the Greenwich curriculum which is pretty challenging- even for grade K and also make the IB curriculum a part of their education. Ms. Murphy was my son's teacher and he loved her class! You can't go wrong with any of the Kindergarten teachers - they're all great with different teaching styles. Ms. Ricci - the principal does a fantastic job as a leader for the school.
