Oxford High School

As a former student (who's attended as recently as last year), the quality of this school is very low. I've been harassed by many teachers and students and seen other students experience the same thing. Teachers don't really care about their students well-being and often disrespect or harass them. A surprising amount of the student body is extremely racist and aren't afraid to openly discriminate any way they can. In addition, teachers have encouraged some students to bully/continue bullying others. From 2014-17, I'd estimate half a dozen teachers have been suspended for some inappropriate behavior, usually harassing students. While the campuses are in great and clean condition, there are still some decent people in the school environment, and there's a ton of school spirit. The majority of the population breeds a toxic environment for students and staff that encourages hate and disgusting behavior.

The school is good, but way to hard on their students. Every weekend my child cones home with at least 3 projects or essays minimum. It is extremely stressful on him and he never has a break or any time to himself. The teachers mean well but they give way too much work. He doesn't even have time to study anymore and his grades are dropping because of all this work. If this school gave less work to my chikd it would then be the perfect school.
